The nice couple skillfully made the soba noodles themselves.
A friendly couple came to my place, saying, “We’ve seen soba-making experiences in Nagano, but we never thought we’d be able to do it so close by.”
They asked precise questions about the amount of water to use for mixing, how to mix the dough, and how to use the rolling pin, and they skillfully made soba noodles.
“Cutting with the knife feels great,” they said, and their soba noodles turned out so beautifully that you wouldn’t think it was their first time.
They ate the freshly made and boiled noodles, saying, “They’re as delicious as those from a high-end soba restaurant,” and finished every last bite.
Later, we received the following comments:

He explained everything clearly and even helped us out, resulting in delicious soba noodles.
He also taught us how to store and boil the noodles!
