Two women, a mother and her daughter, enjoyed making soba noodles.
Next, a woman who wanted to do a soba-making demonstration at the facility where she works came to make soba with her daughter while checking out making soba. Gradually, the two of them got used to the technique, moving on to the “watering” and “kneading” steps. The mother spread the dough with the “noshi” method, sometimes boldly, while the daughter was careful. Both of them made great soba, with the mother was saying “I might be better at this,” and the daughter was saying “It cut nicely.”
I boiled the freshly made soba and they ate it, saying “It’s delicious!!” They compared the soba they each had made and commented “They’re all different.”
They said they would help out me at the next soba-making demonstration, and I’ll be grateful for their help.
We hope you two will come and make some delicious soba again.
