A lady came to my place wanting to serve soba noodles at her own restaurant.
A lady came to learn how to make soba noodles, as she wanted to serve them at her own restaurant. She brought along her cute girl from elementary school to experience making soba noodles together.
She usually cooks, so she quickly got used to the water and rolling techniques. She said, “It’s interesting to see the shape of the soba noodles change,” and was able to stretch and fold the dough beautifully, without making it seem like it was her first time.
After boiling the freshly made soba noodles, she smiled and said, “It’s delicious,” and “Thick noodles are delicious, too.”
The girl said with a happy comment, “Until now, I’ve preferred udon noodles, but if I make it myself, I think I’ll like soba noodles better.”
Making soba noodles is also a deep subject, so if you do it a few times, you’ll be able to make even more delicious soba next time.
I look forward to seeing you again next time.
