Three ladies who rented here exclusively enjoyed making soba noodles and eating meals.
Three ladies who were classmates in high school came to a girls’ get-together. (they have enjoyable joshikai). They love soba noodles because they’re good for dieting.
First, they tried making soba noodles by own hand. They made the soba dough while turning the water. They used a hand and a rolling pin to spread it out to a thickness of 2 mm. They finished folding in different forms, saying “it’s difficult” and “it’s interesting.”
They also said “it’s like udon” and “it’s like pasta” when they “cut” it. They made delicious country-style soba noodles that were a little thick.
After the experience, they had meals, happily talking about how they were hungry, the broth was delicious, and how they liked (okra, bamboo shoots, etc.) They had the whole meals. Finally, they ate the soba they had made, saying “it’s delicious” and “it’s different from all three of us.”
The meal this time made use of the deliciousness of Japanese dashi stock:
green salad, sticky vegetables tossed in dashi stock, seared bonito and yellowtail sashimi, simmered seasonal bamboo shoots and root vegetables, tempura, handmade soba noodles, fruit, and coffee.
I hope they had a good chat and enjoyed a little fun time together.
Please come again for another soba noodle making experience and a meal.
I’m looking forward to trying the “twirling soba noodles with a stick” experience next time.
Thank you very much.
